3D Casting of our Granddaughter's hands
Our Sweet Granddaughter was diagnosed with a very rare & aggressive form of brain cancer called DIPG. We contacted Eileen and arranged an appointment to come to her home. We arranged a road trip with our Granddaughter and Eileen was very welcoming and put our Granddaughter at ease immediately. Eileen explained and showed us what she would be doing and we had a wonderful time! She was able to cast both our Granddaughter's hands without upsetting her. A couple of weeks later we picked up the hands and were extremely happy with the quality & detail! Our Granddaughter joined the angels a few months later & we presented her casted hands as a gift to her parents. I am very happy with Eileen and the casts I got made for my baby. She came really prepared and had everything she needed to do it and also examples and pictures of everything to choose from. I previously had casts done for my other children by someone else and she got a shadow box for it and labels to match perfectly. I highly recommend her. Thanks so much Eileen! Professional compassionate and so accommodating. Eileen went over and above to cast my mom and my hand the day I contacted her. Time was of the essence as mom is in palliative care. She delivered the finished piece beautifully mounted with a plaque "There are no goodbyes for us" back to the hospital. I'm so happy mom was still with us to see the finished product. Eileen created a couple of family hand moulds along with single hand moulds of our terminally ill child. When Ronan took a turn one evening we called her to move our scheduled appointment up to an urgent request. She quickly came that evening and patently waited till our child was comfortable and stable enough for the moulds to be taken. Our house was full of family and she quietly set out to get the job done. We practiced and she prepared all of us so well. The process was quick, easy and she left zero evidence. Knowing that Ronan may pass shortly she worked all night to complete the moulds. This was her first attempt at a set of four hands so she wanted to be sure it worked. We awoke to a text with pictures of our mould. By some miracle Ronan pulled through on that occasion so we booked Eileen to come once more to get some additional moulds. We had fallen in love with our first and this time wanted to also get his hands done individually. Our son passed shortly after the second appointment. I don’t have enough words to express how much we love these moulds. The detailing in the moulds is incredible. As a mother I know every detail of my child’s hands. I look at those moulds and I can see all the details I have forever etched in my memory. It brings me such comfort to be able to “hold” his hand and feel his fingers in mine. The moulds are proudly displayed in our home and admired by all who see them. Eileen entered our home during a time of great sadness and stress. She will forever be a part of our journey and we recommend her highly. These moulds can be gifted for all occasions and shouldn’t have to be completed only when we know someone is dying. The power and love that can be seen in people’s hands should be captured forever.

I was looking for someone who can cast my newborn's hand and foot. Eileen was the only person I found in Edmonton, and I am quite happy with her service. She showed up at our place which was very convenient for us. She brought all the tools and material she needed. She is very professional, and very good with the babies. She also went an extra mile when I asked her to prepare a frame for the casts. The final product is awesome, and we are very happy with it and definitely recommend her.

I had two sets of 3D castings of my 3 month old daughter done. One set for me and one set for my mother. My mom was so happy that I had found someone like Eileen to do 3D castings that she wanted one of my two year old daughter as well. Both the service and Eileen were amazing! Coming from Lethbridge, I found it so hard to find someone to do 3D castings for my first daughter. No one ever advertised for them and the ones I did eventually get were from an amateur who never did anything like it before. It was such a breath of fresh air to have someone like Eileen who has the experience and patience to do what she does to make them absolutely perfect! Having her come to our home worked so much better for us and being able to see her remove the cast from the moulds was so neat. I felt like we were opening up Kinder Surprise eggs since each cast was different from the last. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for that special keepsake.

The first time I got Eileen to do a 3D casting for me was 7 1/2 years ago. Since then I have purchased 6 of them. I have 3 grandchildren and they each have one. My grandson was just over 4 pounds so his was really tiny. Now, when he compares his foot to the 3D casting he holds his hands out bounces them up and down while making a funny little face saying, "I all growed up now!" All I can say is 3D casting is priceless in my eyes. Thank you again Eileen.

I'm so thankful we cast my Mother's hands before she passed. I treasure them everyday and proudly show them off. I often tell the story about the meat grinder incident on the farm and I can point out the nick it gave her over 50 years ago. The detail is unreal.

Babies grow so quickly so it's nice to have a beautiful timeless reminder of just how small our baby girl was, how precious life is and how truly blessed we are.
